Mokpo Natural History Museum is formed of the “Natural History Hall” and the “Literature History Hall”. The “Natural History Hall” has 7 display areas, with the “Center Hall” and “Geographical Feature Hall”, which shows the 4.6billion years history of the Earth clearly. It is especially noteworthy for having Prenoceratops fossils, which only two pieces exist in this world, and global scale carnivorous dinosaur’s egg nest fossil, which has been restored in Jeonnam, Sinan-gun, Apae-do (Natural Monument number 535). It also has the most dinosaur replica, fossils, and plant, insect, bird, and fish specimen in all of Korea, with a total of 40thousand pieces.
