Hello. I am a high school student. The reason why I am writing here is to talk about the inconveniences I experienced while living in Mokpo City. To tell you one by one, there's something I'd like to tell you about the traffic lights. The straight signal at the entrance intersection of the provincial government feels longer than expected. As I live nearby, I often take a bus to and from school, and every time I do that, I feel that the straight signal feels nearly twice as long as the left turn signal. Not only here, but also in front of the waterfall of meeting at the intersection of Tongil-daero (25th Square), there was a long straight signal toward Yeongam, so I asked students who went to school on the same bus as me or office workers who used the road. I know that the signal is long because it is a three- to four-lane road, but I would appreciate it if you could adjust the traffic light considering the waiting time for the traffic light in that it could cause great inconvenience for people with urgent business. Next, I will tell you my subjective thoughts reflecting my friends' opinions on the development of the new city. In the case of Namak, pleasant facilities are being built with a lot of investment for the purpose of developing a new city, while most of Samhakdo Island is not developed, so students and parents living nearby feel that there is a lack of facilities for education. In order to go to school (due to lack of facilities), as well as libraries and study cafes, I wake up early every morning and take the bus to school, and as I will tell you later, the frequency of buses is reduced due to the strike, so my parents have to drive me. Judging from this (currently the bus is operating normally), it seems that proper development is needed in Samhakdo Island, although not a lot. Lastly, this is a problem I experienced during the bus strike. As the bus went on strike for several days due to unpaid wages and increased gas costs, I was grateful to the city (Mokpo) for providing proper countermeasures, but the problem with such a temporary bus was that I had to wait recklessly because I didn't know when the bus would come. It was a little helpful to organize and post a bus dispatch ticket, but I felt a lot of inconvenience in that I had to wait for a bus that I didn't know when it would come even if the bus broke down or an accident occurred while driving. From January to February, when it snowed, I saw several people who were anxious because the bus showed no signs of coming at a time when the snowstorm was severe. The best solution would be to prevent this from happening through proper consultation between the bus company and Mokpo City, but if it happens again, I would appreciate it if you could refer to the above and solve it in a better way. That's all I have in mind. I want to say thank you to those who read the clumsy and lacking content until the end. Thank you.
